OSTERIA DEL CONVENTO

OSTERIA DEL CONVENTO

A Journey Through the Flavors of Cilento

At Osteria del Convento, every dish tells a story of tradition and passion. Led by Patrizia Portolano, the osteria celebrates the authentic cuisine of southern Italy, using fresh ingredients, harvested from the convent's garden and the surrounding lands. Here, simplicity meets taste, offering a gastronomic experience that awakens the senses. In the quiet cloister of a 14th-century Franciscan convent, the Osteria offers a unique dining experience with just 16 seats available each evening.
Our seasonal tasting menu changes daily, inspired by the harvest from our garden and the offerings of trusted local producers.

A Zero Kilometer Garden

The convent's vegetable garden is the heart of our cuisine. Fresh vegetables, aromatic herbs and seasonal fruit are picked directly under the Cilento sun and become the protagonists of our dishes, bringing the freshness and authenticity of the territory to the table.

Dinner is served in two seatings, at 7:30 PM and 10:00 PM, by reservation only.
The menu includes four and a half courses — appetizer, first course, main course, side, and dessert — for €60 per person, wines excluded.

A refined yet genuine culinary journey, where Cilento’s tradition meets quiet elegance.

Patrizia's Philosophy

Patrizia is the soul of the Osteria and her cuisine aims to preserve and share the authentic flavors of Cilento and the immaterial Unesco World Heritage "Mediterranean Diet", born in this region.

Each dish reflects his commitment to quality and sustainability, using seasonal recipes that combine simplicity and authenticity, passed down from generation to generation.
